FYB Youth Turkey Hitting Camp: Is intended to allow young athletes to work on developing their skills while also making baseball a positive experience. Our objective is to provide useful information teaching mechanics, techniques and set up drills for the player to use at home for personal hitting skill development.
Small Group Hitting Sessions: For three sessions, hitters rotate through a series of supervised stations, each designed to teach a different component of hitting. Power is generated from hip rotation, hard turns, and hip and shoulder separation. The program is designed to improve on an aggressive approach at the plate, proper grip, stance/set up, balance, stride/load, timing, swing path, contact points, extension and finish.
About Mike: Attended Rutgers University where he ranks in the top 10 in several categories including hits, doubles, triples, home runs, runs, and total bases. Signed a contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2012. Has spent 9 seasons in professional baseball. 3x American Association All-star.
About Anthony: Currently coaches with the FM RedHawks and was part of the 2022 American Association Championship team. Anthony also coaches at Concordia College. Has coaching stints with Shippensburg University from 2016-2018. Played professional baseball for the Evansville Otters (Frontier League) and FM RedHawks.
