Meet the Team


ALEX SUMNER, PRESIDENT/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Alex earned his Bachelor Degree in Sport Management from Dakota Wesleyan University where he played baseball.  After his college career Alex went on and played 3 years of independent minor league baseball. Highlighting his minor league career, Alex earned honors as an All-Star shortstop where he led the league in stolen bases and earned the Gold Glove Award in the New York State League.  Alex has coached baseball at the high school, college, and professional level. During his free time Alex is is an associate scout for the Boston Red Sox and volunteers for Special Olympics. Alex's past work experience includes Executive Director of Fargo Little League and Director of Sports for Special Olympics North Dakota.  Alex and his wife Emily have a daughter named Ruby and a son Hank.







SCOTT KRABBENHOFT, VICE PRESIDENT / GENERAL MANAGER

Scott is a born and raised Fargo native who graduated from Fargo South in 2011 and is also a Post 2 alumni. Scott majored in Graphic Design at M-State in Moorhead.  Scott started his coaching career in 2012 at Fargo North. He also coached with the Bombers from 2012-13. In 2014, he joined the Post 2 varsity team as an assistant. Scott helped coach 3 state champion legion teams; the 2012 Bombers and the 2016 and 2017 Post 2 team. Scott started coaching at Fargo Davies in 2012 and was an assistant with the varsity team. He currently coaches with the Fargo Post 400 program in the spring. Scott also won 2 state titles as a player; the 2011 Fargo South team and the 2011 Jets. Scott also has been a high school and college hockey official for 10+ years.  Scott's past work experience includes being the Executive Marketing Director of Fargo Post 2 and two years at Signarama working with production, design, and sales.







ZACH FRAZIER,  DIRECTOR OF BASEBALL OPERATIONS

Zach grew up in Grand Rapids, MN where he lettered in hockey and baseball. Zach graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 2013. After high school, he continued his baseball career at the University of Minnesota-Crookston where he was the starting catcher for 4 years and was named team captain for his Junior and Senior seasons. Zach was a part of the winningest class in UMC baseball history as he was a part of numerous record-breaking seasons for the Golden Eagles. Zach finished his career at UMC 4th all-time in games started, 6th all-time in RBIs, and 2nd all-time in fielding percentage. In the summers of 2016 and 2017, Zach played for the Weyburn Beavers of the Western Major Baseball League. Zach graduated in the spring of 2018 with his degree in Sports Management. Following graduation Zach moved to Fargo, ND to continue to pursue his passion.








KARSON SPIESS,  OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Karson is a Fargo native who graduated from Fargo North in 2017. He played baseball for Fargo North and in his summers he played for Post 400 and Post 2. He won a state championship in his lone summer with Post 2 in 2017. He attended NDSU where he majored in Sport Management. After college he went to Bismarck, ND and interned with the Bismarck Larks as a Ballpark Operations Intern. After the summer ended he accepted a position in West Palm Beach, FL where he was able to do Field Operations at the spring training complex of the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals. Karson has been a part of our organization for over 4 years doing a multitude of jobs such as coaching and interning.

CORA ZACKRISON, DIRECTOR OF FASTPITCH AND PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

Cora has an impressive background in fastpitch. She is an ASA Certified Softball Coach with five years of collegiate coaching experience among the NAIA, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division III levels, and nine years of experience coaching at the youth and travel level.

Cora received her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science with a minor in Spanish at Concordia College in Moorhead. While at Concordia, Cora played on the softball team for 4 years and served as the team captain her senior year. After she graduated from Concordia, Cora attended Jamestown College as a Graduate Assistant for the softball team while earning her Master of Arts degree in Leadership with a specialty in Healthcare. After she graduated from Jamestown, Cora went on to be the assistant head coach at University of South Carolina - Beaufort, and 2 years as head coach at Northland College in Ashland Wisconsin.
