Additional Info

The tournament committee has worked with TEAMINN with Stack Sports to contract great rates and reserve hotel room blocks for our visiting teams.

In order to keep registration fees low, we will require all traveling teams to reserve rooms via the TEAMINN.

All room reservations must be made through the TEAMINN System – tournament rates will not be available for reservations made directly with the hotels and those reservations.

Fargo Youth Baseball worked with TEAMINN to select hotel options that offer a variety of locations and rates so every visiting team will be able to find an option that fits its families.

Team Managers/Coordinators: See the link above for instructions for setting up your team's room block. Please also make sure you read and understand the terms of the hotel contract at which you are staying, such as cancellation notices. Fargo Youth Baseball is not responsible for hotel contracts as you must abide by the hotel's terms and conditions. Please pass this information to your team so there are no surprises.

4-6-3 Foundation

The Medd family established the 4-6-3 Foundation with the Dakota Medical Foundation in memory of Liam Medd and to support the mission to end teen suicide.

Liam was a second baseman, and there is no greater defensive force multiplier in baseball than turning a double play….and for a second baseman that is the 4-6-3 double play. Liam has flipped the ball to us and it is our job to continue the play and end teen suicide.

The project’s goal is to connect youth and their parents, coaches and mentors with suicide prevention resources and techniques through engagement at youth sporting events, in schools, and in other youth organizations. Our goal is to help youth and families understand that there are not always symptoms or red flags leading to a suicide and to highlight the importance of access to resources, having the difficult conversation and education around mental health. In addition, through these conversations we want to help erase the stigma around mental health challenges and suicide and to build hope for our kids and families.
Suicide is the leading cause of death of young people (10-24) in the state of North Dakota and is the second leading cause of death for the same age group in the nation. It is our goal that teaming with other similar organizations, we can increase our impact on this community and region.

Reduce Stigma. Build Hope. End Suicide.
