Age Charts

Red River Valley League (RRVL): Players may choose between Cal Ripken and Little League age charts.

Ages Ranges:

5‑6 Year Olds: May 1, 2019 – August 31, 2021

7 Year Old: May 1, 2018 – August 31, 2019

8 Year Old: May 1, 2017 – August 31, 2018

9 Year Old: May 1, 2016 – August 31, 2017

10 Year Old: May 1, 2015 – August 31, 2016

11 Year Old: May 1, 2014 – August 31, 2015

12 Year Old: May 1, 2013 – August 31, 2014

13 Year Old: May 1, 2012 – August 31, 2013

14‑15 Year Olds: May 1, 2010 – August 31, 2012

Travel Baseball (9-15U): Must use Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth age chart.
Little League (12U & 13U): Must use Little League age chart.

Red River Valley League (RRVL)

• Combines teams from Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead, and surrounding communities.

• Games scheduled in Fargo, West Fargo, or Moorhead; possible games in DGF, Hawley, Kindred, & Casselton.

• Players may select Intermediate or Advanced skill divisions.

Team Assignments & Game Schedule

• Rosters finalized after RRVL registration closes on March 1.

• Notifications sent by FYB and coaches, typically by the end of March.

• Game schedules set in April.

• Players may request coaches or teammates; we do our best to honor requests, but they are not guaranteed. Confirm with coaches if you want to stay on a specific team.

• Memorial Day: No games – May 25

• Picture Week (Best of Times Photography): May 26-29 @ The ATTIC

• July 4th Break: No games – July 1 & 2

• Bat Demo Day (Presented by Scheels): Sunday, February 15

• Scheels Discount Flyer: Fargo 61's (March 20-29) | Fargo Youth Baseball (April 10-19) - This will be distributed to the families once available.

• Rainouts/League Cancellations: Make-up dates – June 14 & July 12

• RRVL Playoffs (10-15U):

  • 10U & 13U: July 27 & 29

  • 11U, 12U, 14/15U: July 28 & 30

  • Playoffs for ages 5-9U do not occur. Brackets released by July 14 on Exposure Events.

Indoor Facility – The ATTIC

• Free access for all 2026 season players.

• Limited to 1-hour practice slots per week, 2 tunnels at a time.

• Equipment includes L-screens, hitting tees, mats, and more.

• Tunnels may be split; use extra mats to protect turf.
