Players aged 12 and under through the Little League Age Chart are chartered through Little League International. Fargo Youth Baseball will select a tournament team which allows players to be eligible for the Little League All-Star Team. The Little League All-Star team will not be announced until May 15 of each year. In order to qualify for the tournament team players MUST:
- Follow the Little League Age Chart
- Reside or attend school in Fargo
- Play in the Red River Valley League
This team will play in additional games and tournaments outside of their normal allocated Red River Valley League games. There will be a minimum of 4 summer tournaments and roughly 8 - 10 additional games throughout the summer season as a "tournament team"
To be selected for one of the tournament teams, players must adhere to the Little League age chart and participate in the Red River Valley League for the upcoming season. No more than 4 players from the tournament team can play on the same Red River Valley League team. The players that participate Red River Valley League team MUST attend at least 80% of all RRVL activities.
The tournament team that is selected will be eligible for the Little League All-Star team after the May 15 deadline. In the event the team is selected as the Little League All-Star team, an informational email will come out to the team with information regarding the Little League tournament trail.
