Spring Break Baseball Camps (2026)

Enjoy your days off from school with our Spring Break Camps at The ATTIC. Each session is designed to build strong fundamentals, boost confidence, and create a fun, supportive training experience for athletes of all ages and skill levels.

Ages: 5-15U

Location: The ATTIC (1892 17th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58103)

Infield Defense with Karson Spiess

Date: Monday, March 16

Cost: $25 per participant

Max # of Participants per Group: 12 players

Focus: Fundamentals of fielding ground balls, footwork, glove work, and throwing accuracy.

Group 1 (Ages 11-12): 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Group 2 (Ages 13-15): 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Group 3 (Ages 9-10): 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Pitching with Mason Quick

Date: Tuesday, March 17

Cost: $25 per participant

Max # of Participants per Group: 18 players

Focus: Mechanics, grip, command, velocity development, and mental approach to pitching.

Group 4 (Ages 9-10): 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Group 5 (Ages 11-12): 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Group 6 (Ages 13-15): 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Catcher Defense with Zach Frazier

Date: Wednesday, March 18

Cost: $25 per participant

Max # of Participants per Group: 12 players

Focus: Stance, receiving, blocking, footwork, and throwing mechanics.

Group 7 (Ages 9-12): 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Group 8 (Ages 13-15): 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Hitting with Mason Quick

Date: Thursday, March 19

Cost: $25 per participant

Max # of Participants per Group: 18 players

Focus: Fundamentals of stance, grip, swing mechanics, strength, and power development.

Group 10 (Ages 11-12): 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Group 11 (Ages 9-10): 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

If a session is unavailable, it may be full. In the event that group numbers are low, you may be contacted by the Fargo Area Sports office for other arrangements.

About Our Instructors

Karson Spiess: Karson played baseball for Fargo North, Post 400 and Post 2. With Post 2, he won a state championship in 2017. Coach Spiess has coached with Fargo Youth Baseball and Fargo North. Karson interned with the Bismarck Larks and was involved with the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals as Field Operations.

Mason Quick: Mason currently serves as an assistant coach at Fargo South and for the 15/16U ‘61s team. He brings extensive international playing experience, having spent four professional seasons competing in Germany, Austria, and New Zealand as a versatile two-way utility player, posting a career .334 batting average. Mason’s coaching career is equally diverse, with experience in the U.S., Germany, Austria, and New Zealand, working with players from 5U through advanced player-coach roles.

His career highlights include winning an Austrian league championship in 2023, back-to-back Finkstonball tournament titles in 2022 and 2023, and a softball championship as a coach in 2019. Mason played collegiate baseball at Valley City State University and Minnesota State University Moorhead and previously served as the Head Legion Baseball Coach in Pillager in 2017.

Zach Frazier: Zach was a four-year starting catcher at the University of Minnesota–Crookston, where he ranks fourth all-time in games started, sixth in RBIs, and second in fielding percentage. He played competitively with the Weyburn Beavers in 2016 and 2017. Zach brings a deep understanding of the catcher position and game strategy to his player development.

Additional Information

Eligibility: Open to all FYB players registered for the 2026 summer season. Registration for non-FYB players will open 10 days prior to the first session.
Equipment: Please bring a glove for pitching sessions, and a bat and helmet for hitting sessions. For catcher defense sessions, bring full catcher’s gear and a catcher’s glove. Additional equipment will be available if needed.
Footwear: Clean, dry tennis shoes required (no cleats).
