November Small Group Baseball Development Sessions

Get personalized training in small group settings with experienced instructors to help you sharpen your baseball skills. These sessions are designed to focus on fundamentals while ensuring a fun learning environment. Spots are limited, so sign up quickly if you'd like to train with a friend!

Infield Defense with Christian Ibarra (Mondays)

Focus: Fielding ground balls, proper footwork, glove work, throwing accuracy, and learning how to throw from multiple angles.

Dates: October 28, November 4, November 11, & November 18 (4 sessions)

Cost: $120

Group 1 (Ages 9-10): 4:00 PM – 4:55 PM

Catcher Defense with Zach Frazier (Mondays)

Focus: Stance, receiving, blocking, footwork, and throwing mechanics.

Dates: October 28, November 4, November 11, & November 18 (4 sessions)

Cost: $120

Group Size: Max 6 players

Group 5 (Ages 9-10): 5:00 PM – 5:55 PM

Hitting with Christian Ibarra (Tuesdays)

Focus: Stance, grip, swing path, contact point, and developing strength and power through leg drive, core rotation, and bat speed.

Dates: October 29, November 5, November 12, & November 19 (4 sessions)

Cost: $120

Hitting & Infield Defense with Christian Ibarra (Wednesdays)

Focus: Half of each session will be focused on infield defense and the other half will be focused on hitting.

Infield Defense: Fundamentals of fielding ground balls, footwork, glove work, and throwing accuracy.
Hitting: Fundamentals of stance, grip, swing mechanics, strength, and power development.

Dates: October 30, November 6, November 13, & November 20 (4 sessions)

Cost: $120

Group Size: Max 6 players

Group 10 (Ages 5-8): 5:00 PM – 5:55 PM

Hitting & Infield Defense with Christian Ibarra (Friday/Thursdays)

Focus: Half of each session will be focused on infield defense and the other half will be focused on hitting.

Note: The first session is on Friday, November 1st, due to Halloween.

About Our Instructors

Christian Ibarra: Christian played collegiate baseball at LSU, earning honors like First-Team All-SEC, SEC All-Defensive Team, and SEC All-Tournament Team in 2013. He coached at LSU in 2015 and spent seven seasons in professional baseball, including stints with the Lincoln Saltdogs, Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, Guadalajara Mariachis, and the Minnesota Twins.

Zach Frazier: Zach was a 4-year starting catcher at the University of Minnesota-Crookston. He ranks 4th all-time in games started, 6th in RBIs, and 2nd in fielding percentage. Zach played for the Weyburn Beavers in 2016 and 2017.

Additional Information

Eligibility: Open to FYB players registered for the 2024 summer season. Non-FYB players may register within 10 days of the first session.
Equipment: Bring a glove for infield sessions, and a bat and helmet for hitting sessions. Additional equipment will be available.
Footwear: Clean, dry tennis shoes required (no cleats).
Registration: Follow the 2025 Age Chart when signing up. Registration is at the bottom of the page.
