November 11 Veterans Day Camps - Baseball (2025)

No school on November 11? Spend Veterans Day at The ATTIC!

Players ages 5–8U will work on all-around fundamentals — hitting, defense, throwing, and fielding — through fun, high-energy drills. Athletes ages 9–15U will dive into situational hitting, learning how to approach different in-game scenarios and make smart, productive decisions at the plate.

It’s the perfect way to honor the day off, have fun, and keep your skills sharp this offseason!

Max # of Participants per Group: 18 players

Cost: $25 per player

General Skills with Christian Ibarra

Focus: Hitting, defense, throwing, and fielding

Group 1 (Ages 5-8): 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Situational Hitting with Christian Ibarra

Focus: This camp focuses on teaching players how to approach hitting in different in-game situations. Athletes will learn how to adjust their mindset and approach depending on the count, number of outs, baserunner positions, and game context. Drills will emphasize making productive contact, executing situational plays (such as hit-and-run, moving runners over, and driving in runs), and understanding pitch selection and approach. Players will develop stronger situational awareness at the plate and gain the confidence to make smart, team-focused decisions during live game action.

Group 2 (Ages 9-10): 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Group 3 (Ages 11-12): 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Group 4 (Ages 13-15): 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

If a session is unavailable, it may be full. In the event that group numbers are low, you may be contacted by the Fargo Area Sports office for other arrangements.

About Our Instructor

Christian Ibarra: Christian played collegiate baseball at LSU, where he earned First-Team All-SEC, SEC All-Defensive Team, and SEC All-Tournament Team honors in 2013. He returned to LSU as a coach in 2015 and went on to play 11 seasons of professional baseball, including time with the Lincoln Saltdogs, Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, Guadalajara Mariachis, and the Minnesota Twins organization. He currently competes with the Piratas de Campeche in the Mexican Professional League.

Additional Information

Eligibility: Open to FYB players registered for the 2025 summer season. Non-FYB players may register within 10 days of the first session.
Equipment: For hitting, please bring a bat and helmet. For general skills, please bring a bat, helmet, and glove. Additional equipment will be available if needed.
Footwear: Clean, dry tennis shoes required (no cleats).
Registration: Follow the 2025 Age Chart when signing up. Participants also have the option of going up an age for the 2026 Age Chart. Registration is at the bottom of the page.
