October Small Group Baseball Development Sessions

Experience personalized instruction with our skilled instructors in small group sessions. These sessions are designed to provide players with one-on-one time, helping them master the fundamentals of the game while having fun. Fundamentals of Infield Defense with Christian Ibarra (Mondays)

Focus: Basic skills such as fielding ground balls, proper footwork, glove work, and throwing accuracy.

Dates: September 30, October 7, 14, & 21 (4 sessions)

Cost: $120

Catcher Defense with Zach Frazier (Mondays)

Focus: Comprehensive skills training, including stance, receiving, blocking, footwork, and throwing mechanics.

Dates: September 30, October 7, 14, & 21 (4 sessions)

Fundamentals of Hitting with Christian Ibarra (Tuesdays)

Focus: Core mechanics such as stance, grip, swing path, and contact point.

Dates: October 1, 8, 15, & 22 (4 sessions)

Advanced Infield Defense Techniques with Christian Ibarra (Wednesdays)

Focus: More complex plays, including backhand fielding, turning double plays, and throwing from multiple angles.

Dates: October 2, 9, 16, & 23 (4 sessions)

Cost: $120

Advanced Power Hitting with Christian Ibarra (Thursdays)

Focus: Developing strength and generating more power through the swing, including leg drive, core rotation, and bat speed.

Dates: October 3, 10, 17, & 24 (4 sessions)

Cost: $120

About Our Instructors:

Christian Ibarra:

Christian played collegiate baseball at LSU, where he earned honors such as First-Team All-SEC, SEC All-Defensive Team, and SEC All-Tournament Team in 2013. He later coached at LSU during the 2015 season. With seven seasons in professional baseball, Christian has played for the Lincoln Saltdogs, Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, and Guadalajara Mariachis. In 2016, he signed with the Minnesota Twins.

Zach Frazier:

4-year starting catcher at the University of Minnesota-Crookston where he finished his career 4th all-time in games started, 6th in RBIs, and 2nd in fielding percentage. In the summers of 2016 & 2017, Zach played for the Weyburn Beavers of the Western Major Baseball League.

Additional Camp Information:

Registration: Located at the bottom of the page. When registering, please follow the 2025 Age Chart.
Eligibility: Open to Fargo Youth Baseball (FYB) players that registered for the 2024 summer season. Non-FYB players may register for the camp within 10 days before the first session.
Equipment: Bring a glove for infield defense and pitching sessions; bring a bat and helmet for hitting sessions. Additional equipment will be provided if needed.
Footwear: Please bring clean, dry tennis shoes (no cleats).
