Spring & Summer Registration:

• Registration Deadline: March 31st, 2023, for everyone EXCEPT Travel interested players. The deadline is March 1, 2023, for those players trying out for a travel team or would like to participate in our spring program (6-8th grade).

Fundraising Program (PushSave):

PushSave, our partner in fundraising, is a contactless fundraiser!  You can do it all from the comfort of your own home. For each book sold, $10 will back toward your account to help offset registration fee's.

Spring Season:
Spring season is for middle school aged players. Players will be assigned teams by grade and what high school they will attend. More information regarding practice and game schedule will be available in the near future. 

Summer League Play:

Fargo Area Fastpitch Program will enter the existing Fargo Fastpitch League. The league is a 8 weeks with games being played throughout the Fargo Area. Summer league play will start the week of June 5 (after high school season concludes). Games start at 6:00 PM. Below are days of the week each team will play: 

• 8U - Sunday's (1 Game)
• 10U - Thursday's (1 Game)
• 12U - Tuesday's ( 2 Games)
• 14U - Monday's (2 Games)
• 18U - Wednesday's (2 Games)
  

Travel Program:

Fargo Area Fastpitch will offer a travel/club teams for the 2023 summer season. Tryouts will be held March 5th at the ATTIC  (1892 17th Ave S) with a make up date on March 12th. Each team will play 4 tournaments in addition to their league games (Please see the above days of the week based on player's age). Team Assignments & Game Schedule:

• Shortly after registration closes on March 31, Team rosters will be formed. After rosters are finalized, you will be notified via email by the Fargo Youth Baseball office and your coach.
• The team and league schedule will be put together shortly after rosters are completed.
• During the registration process, you will have the ability to request a certain coach or player(s) to participate with for the RRVL. Coaches are allowed to form their own team if the player chooses to play for them.  Teams are allowed to stay together year after year. If submitting a roster, the deadline is March 1. Please make sure to communicate with the families/coaches and submit your request during the registration process.
• These submissions are not guaranteed but we do our best to accommodate all requests. 

Indoor Facility (the ATTIC): 

• You must be registered for the 2023 season to utilize the indoor facilities for no charge.
• The Facility will be open Friday and Saturday nights from 5:00 - 9:00 PM for Fastpitch.
• When reserving time in the indoor facilities, coaches/individuals may only reserve a facility for one practice per week and only2 tunnels at a time, for an hour time slot.
• Fargo Youth Baseball recently equipped the ATTIC with additional equipment to split the tunnel in half allowing anywhere between 2 – 4 cage options.
• There are 2 L-screens, 2 ball caddy’s, 2 hitting tee’s, 2 hitting mats, and a fungo screen to split your tunnel in half.
• If you split your tunnel in half, BE SURE TO USE THE EXTRA HITTING MAT TO PROTECT OUR TURF.
• Your indoor practice can consist of one hour in length and prefer that you schedule on the hour mark.
  • Example: 5:00-6:00pm, not 5:30-6:30pm. If we're within 48 hours from the time you reserved and if tunnels are open, coaches or individuals can reserve either more tunnels and/or more time.

Coaches Checklist & Registration:

Anyone wishing to coach with FYB (whether head coach, assistant coach, practice coach, etc.) MUST complete steps 1-3. All three of these are required for anyone to coach in our organization for liability and insurance reasons and will trigger a background check. For more information on the coaches requirements please click here.

Coaches Meeting:

Coaches meetings are conducted in April. Please sign up as a coach during the registration process to receive an email on meeting dates and locations.

Practice Info:

Practice date, time, and location are up to each coach. Fargo Area Fastpitch requires at least one practice a week for ages 7-18U.

Picture Week:

Team photos will be taken between June 5-9. Best of Times Photography will come up with a schedule and will be distributed after teams are made. Photos will be held at the ATTIC.

Memorial Day:

There will be no games scheduled for May 29th.

July 4th Break:

There will be no RRVL games scheduled for July 3-6.
