November - December Small Group Development Sessions

Get personalized training in small group settings with experienced instructors to help you sharpen your baseball skills. These sessions are designed to focus on fundamentals while ensuring a fun learning environment. Spots are limited, so sign up quickly if you'd like to train with a friend!

Ages: 5-15U

Location: The ATTIC (1892 17^th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58103)

Infield Defense / Hitting with Christian Ibarra

Focus: Half of each session will be focused on infield defense and the other half will be focused on hitting.

Infield Defense: Fundamentals of fielding ground balls, footwork, glove work, and throwing accuracy.
Hitting: Fundamentals of stance, grip, swing mechanics, strength, and power development.

(Monday Infield Defense/ Hitting Sessions)

Dates: 12/2, 12/9, 12/16, 12/30 (4 sessions)

Note: There is no session on 12/23 due to Winter Break.

Cost: $120

Group 15 ( Ages 7-8): 6:00 PM - 6:55 PM

(Tuesday Infield Defense/ Hitting Sessions *Last session is on a Wednesday)

Dates: 12/3 12/10, 12/17, 1/1 (4 sessions)

Note: There is no session on 12/24 due to Winter Break and no session on 12/31 due to New Year’s Eve.

Catcher Defense with Zach Frazier (Tuesdays)

Focus: Stance, receiving, blocking, footwork, and throwing mechanics.

Dates: 11/26, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17 (4 sessions)

Cost: $120

Pitching with Karson Spiess (Wednesdays)

Focus: Mechanics, grip, command, velocity development, and mental approach to pitching.

Dates: 11/27, 12/4, 12/11, & 12/18 (4 sessions)

Cost: $120

Hitting with Christian Ibarra (Thursdays)

Focus: Stance, grip, swing path, contact point, and developing strength and power through leg drive, core rotation, and bat speed.

Dates: 12/5, 12/12, 12/19, 1/2 (4 sessions)

Note: There is no session on 12/26 due to Winter Break.

Cost: $120

About Our Instructors

Christian Ibarra: Christian played collegiate baseball at LSU, earning honors like First-Team All-SEC, SEC All-Defensive Team, and SEC All-Tournament Team in 2013. He coached at LSU in 2015 and spent seven seasons in professional baseball, including stints with the Lincoln Saltdogs, Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, Guadalajara Mariachis, and the Minnesota Twins.

Zach Frazier: Zach was a 4-year starting catcher at the University of Minnesota-Crookston. He ranks 4th all-time in games started, 6th in RBIs, and 2nd in fielding percentage. Zach played for the Weyburn Beavers in 2016 and 2017.

Karson Spiess: Karson played baseball for Fargo North, Post 400 and Post 2. With Post 2, he won a state championship in 2017. Coach Spiess has coached with Fargo Youth Baseball and Fargo North. Karson interned with the Bismarck Larks and was involved with the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals as Field Operations.

Additional Information

Eligibility: Open to FYB players registered for the 2024 or 2025 summer season. Non-FYB players may register within 10 days of the first session.
Equipment: Bring a glove for infield sessions, and a bat and helmet for hitting sessions. Catcher gear and glove for catcher defense sessions. Additional equipment will be available if needed.
Footwear: Clean, dry tennis shoes required (no cleats).
